Dr. Ayres earned his doctor of medicine degree from New York Medical College in New York City. He completed his surgical internship at Dartmouth’s Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, N.H., and his orthopedic surgical residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Ayres is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, a National Medical School Honor Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Glenn Axelrod, MD
Dr. Axelrod is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, joint replacements, arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery and general orthopedics. He received his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester. Dr. Axelrod is active with local hospitals, attending monthly meetings at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Sarah Ames, PA-C
Sarah Ames joined SOS in 2011 and works with Dr. Cooke, assisting him both in the office and the operating room. Prior to joining SOS, she worked as a PA at an orthopedic practice in Atlantic City, NJ. Ames earned a B.S. in Medical Studies from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and earned her M.S. in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia University in 2007. She is board certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the AAPA.
Brandon Weaver, PA-C
Brandon Weaver, PA-C is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from their Physician Assistant program. He is a clinical preceptor for RIT, providing instruction in patient care, treatment and mentoring to Physician Assistant students. Brandon is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Rahul Shinde, PA
Rahul Shinde, PA-C earned his physician assistant degree from Upstate Medical Center, graduating with high honors. He previously earned his bachelor of medicine bachelor of surgery from NDMVPS Medical College in Nasik, India. He completed his Internship at Nasik Civil Hospital, also in India.
